“Incredible” is the word used by ministry partner Pastor Phillip Chea to describe what is taking place in Cambodia. 2022 was a year of lives changed by the love and care of those we work with all over Cambodia. This newsletter highlights the work Pastor Phillip and his team are doing in Phnom Penh and the surrounding region. Cambodia Impact has staff in some locations and also partners with gifted pastors and leaders in other parts of Cambodia. Phillip is one of those effective partnerships producing outstanding results!

In 2022 Pastor Phillip’s team reports 429 new converts to Christ:
96 people at FFCC Phnom Penh
141 in Svay Rieng
70 in Kampong Cham
50 in Kampong Speu
72 in Kampong Chhnang
We’re thrilled and humbled to share with you this great news coming from Phillip and his team at Faithful Family of Christ Church (FFCC) in Phnom Penh. This church is on the front lines in finding ways to improve the lives of both city and rural Cambodians and are leading many to Jesus Christ. Lives changed and hope for a better future are the hallmark of this church and its faithful workers bringing Jesus to the people of their nation.

Phillip says, “incredible is an understatement to describe what the Spirit of God has done through all the outreaches across our ministry and the ministries we support and work with.” He goes on to say that during the Christmas season alone they brought the story of Jesus and His birth to 2,756 people in 17 different locations.

Phillip goes on to say, “We’ve been in awe of God’s extravagant love and amazing plan in 2022 and we are so thankful for all the HE has allowed into our lives this year, the good and the hard things that have reminded us how much we need Him and rely on His presence filling us every day. Yet, another new year to look forward to, eagerly awaiting and wondering what God has in store."

And finally Phillip writes “My prayer is that the Lord will make 2023 for us a year of new adventure, renewed commitments that comes from a place of love-motivated obedience for Jesus, and finally a year of ability beyond what we feel able, and that His gifts shall flow freely through us, so that God would be honored by our lives, and others would be drawn to Him."
When God works, we rejoice! We love that our teams are passionate about the ministry God has given them and are diligent in serving Christ. Thanks to Phillip and his team at FFCC for their faithful and committed work as together we share the Good News with the Cambodian people!
